Questions regarding leadership have long been a subject of speculation, and submission to the rigors of scientific research did not begin until the twentieth century. Important questions include the reasons why some people emerge as leaders, what are the determinants of a leader's actions, and what makes one leader more effective over another. Whenever the subject centers on leadership, there is always discussion on the situation or aspect of the "natural born" leader. That leadership is somehow biologically inherent.
